| Welcome to the Media Classroom, South Hall 1415. This room is the UC Santa Barbara English Department's technologically enhanced and enabled classroom! This website will serve as your guide to the resources available to instructors in this room. Learn what equipment is available, how to use it, and how to incorporate these capabilities into tools for successful teaching in the new millennium. Under Equipment you will find the technical specifications of the equipment available in this room, and quick links to the pages that will show you how to use these tools in your teaching. Under Computers you can find a guide introducing you the the Instructor's Console and the Media Classroom Laptops. Video Tools and Audio Tools organize the guides in these catalogues into easy to find sections. The NetMeeting section of the website is your introduction to this software which will allow you to share screens with students and even welcome remote lecturers into your classroom with full video and audio. Under Supporting Software you will find a list and a short description of the software available to help you develop your use of technology in your teaching. Demonstration is a guided walk through the entire site. The How To FAQ is designed to provide quick answered to commonly asked questions.
