The Power of Propaganda: Bibliography
Welch, David. Nazi Propaganda. New Jersey. Barnes & Noble Books. 1983
This book gave us insight into the different forms of propaganda, including film, and the strategy behind them. The two chapters on the function and effect of Nazi film propaganda were especially helpful in our understanding of how propaganda relates to information culture.

Taylor, Richard. Film Propaganda: Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany. New York. I.B. Tauris Publishers. 1998.
This book described in detail the history of German film and how the Nazis came to use it as propaganda. It also detailed four noted Nazi propaganda films, among them Triumph of the Will.

Spielvogel, Jackson J. Western Civilization: Since 1300. New York. West Publishing Company. 1991.
This is a general history book that we used for important historical dates concerning World War II and the rise of the Nazis in Germany.

Riefenstahl, Leni. Triumph of the Will. Germany. 1935.
This is the film that our project is based on. It was very interesting to see the artistic expression of Leni Riefenstahl's direction.
