Transcriptions courses normally assess the level of student technical experience and access to technology at the beginning of a course by means of an online course entrance survey (example). There is a matching exit survey at the end of the course to get a sense of student satisfaction and suggestions regarding their technological experience (not yet online). These technology surveys supplement the regular end-of-course forms that students fill out to assess the overall effectiveness of a course and instructor (not available here for reasons of confidentiality).
A privacy policy governs the release of individual student survey results.
Summary results, however, will be made available on this site as they
become available. Currently, summary results have only been tabulated
and put online for selected course entrance surveys.
