Elements of your web-site
- Home page: index.html: includes a collaboratively written introduction/
overview and links to...
- Short papers (author signed): these papers develop contexts and texts
for studying cyborg culture: lead question: how do these texts and contexts
allow us to interpret the cyborg in culture?
- Link base (author signed): with links active [that is, if you
click on them, you can go to the site]
- Time line for topic (signed by one or more)
- Critical issues and a long paragraph discussion of each issue (signed)
- Images appropriate to your topic (see below)
- Text and/or Context page: individual pages contributed to your site providing
an overview, images, and links: this will be the beginning or kernel that
will grow into your individual final essays.
- Final papers (signed): independently written paper coming out of your
web page, and added to it. It must include a list of books, articles and web-sites
consulted.

for your page
- Right-click (on a
PC) and the image can be saved as a file with the extender .jpg or a .gif
- Save to your disk
a: (or c:, d:, …etc) in the folder "\yoursite" within which you
create a folder called "\images"
- Then insert or import
the image into your web page (from the folder "\yoursite\images")
- When you upload to
the server (FTP=file transfer protocal), so it is on the web, you must remember
to copy the whole "\images" file up as well (so the new images are
available online)
