Christopher Schedler recently completed his Ph.D. in English at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a dissertation titled Modernist Borders of Our America. His work has appeared in recent issues of Arizona Quarterly and The Hemingway Review, and another article is forthcoming in Texas Studies in Literature and Language. He has designed a topics page related to this course and also works as a research assistant for The Voice of the Shuttle.
