Project Log

Purpose: This log sheet has a dual purpose. First, it allows the instructor to get a look at what actually happens in the development of the team projects. Projects that utilize information technology are relatively new to the humanities, and Transcriptions instructors need to learn more about how students actually work in this context so as to be able to adjust their methods in the future. Secondly, instructors experienced in team assignments suggest that it is important for students who are members of teams to be able to register their individual contributions. Your instruction will not necessarily be commenting or giving you feedback on your log sheets, but he or she will have a means (however imperfect) of recognizing either extraordinary effort or lack of effort.
